by Leo Nieboer

Manchester United are keeping a close eye on England and Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho, according to reports.

The club expressed keen interest in signing Sancho over the 2017 summer transfer window when it became clear he would leave Manchester City.

He has since become one of the best young prospects in world football, with the 18-year-old netting seven goals and claiming 11 assists for the Bundesliga leaders, earning a call-up to the England senior squad in response.

And according to the Mirror‘s Rich Jones, Sancho has reemerged on Man United’s radar following a remarkable six months in Germany.

Ed Woodward, according to the report, would be willing to part way with £90m in order to sign the former Man City player, who clearly felt he was not allowed to progress like he wanted to at the Ethiad.

An attacking quartet of Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial would be nothing short of mouth-watering, and could indeed become a reality over the next few years.

For now, though, Sancho will feel there is no reason to leave Dortmund, where he has surpassed all expectations by becoming a crucial player. United nonetheless ought to keep a very close eye on his situation.
