Manchester United have received yet another timely boost ahead of their clash with PSG after key attacker Edinson Cavani injured himself.
The two European giants will go head to head in the Champions League over a two legged fixture but the French champions could do so missing some crucial players.
Other than Cavani, the likes of Marco Verratti and Neymar are said to be huge doubts for the matches having picked up their own knocks.
Meanwhile United have a more or less fully fit squad at the moment with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer even resting some key players during their win over Fulham.
The likes of Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford watched on from the bench while Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera and Anthony Martial were hauled off once the three points seemed secure.
According to the BBC, Edinson injured a tendon in his hip and is unlikely to feature in the first leg clash against the Red Devils.
Players have been known to take pain injections to play through such huge fixtures but Neymar in particular appears to be completely ruled out while the Uruguayan’s injury comes a little too close to the fixture.
United face PSG on Tuesday and will certainly take whatever advantages that come their way in the hopes of advancing to the next stage of the Champions League.
