Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard have suffered muscular injuries vs PSG.
Adding insult to injury the duo succumbed to their battle wounds in the first half before the French champions went on to win 2-0 in the second half.
United didn’t quite look the same without Lingard and Martial with the incoming Juan Mata and Alexis Sanchez largely ineffective.
The two youngsters would’ve been needed for the upcoming clashes against Chelsea and Liverpool but unfortunately that now seems unlikely.
Jesse and Anthony have proven crucial in Solskjaer’s short reign so far but may now be forced to watch from the sidelines.

Fans will be hoping beyond hope that the injuries that forced the two stars off aren’t serious and they can return as United continue to march onwards in the Premier League.
It’s likely that Martial and Lingard picked up their knocks due to fatigue given the heavy fixture schedule as well as the real lack of rotation made between matches.
Ole has found it difficult to rely on anyone other than his preferred starting XI and the pile up of matches could now be taking its toll.
Only time will tell whether this was the case or that United’s luck is just rotten.
