Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have found the perfect solution to his injury hit squad, after Alexis Sanchez was the latest victim.
The Chilean was unable to capitalise after being handed a rare start with an injury ending his match early.
Diogo Dalot was the one who came on for Sanchez during the Southampton clash and it’s fair to say he proved to be a game-changer.
The youngster was pushed further up than his usual position at full-back and he excelled after assisting Andreas Pereira‘s fantastic effort.
Fans were thoroughly pleased by Dalot’s contribution and are excited at the prospect of his potential as it currently seems limitless.

Diogo’s introduction to the match was certain instrumental to his side’s eventual 3-2 victory.
Before he came on United were trailing 1-0 and their lack of clinical edge in front of goal looked as though it would cost them.
Luckily Dalot’s influence on the match grew and gave his teammates enough confidence for them to go on to win the fixture.
The Portuguese wasn’t the sole hero but it was clear for all to see that he was a better alternative to Alexis who fans may not even miss in their upcoming clashes vs PSG and Arsenal.
