Manchester United receive injury boost from Romelu Lukaku

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United fans will be happy to hear good injury news for once with Romelu Lukaku on the road to recovery.

The Belgian was called up for his country for the ongoing international break, perhaps much to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s dismay.

The Norwegian has had an incredible number of first-team stars missing in recent matches due to their injuries.

Lukaku has turned himself into a key player for Solskjaer after being made a scapegoat during Jose Mourinho’s era.

The striker’s best return so far was scoring a brace during United’s historic comeback victory vs PSG in the Champions League.

According to Caught Offside, the Daily Mirror report that despite Romelu’s foot injury that saw him miss his country’s fixtures, he will be fit for the clash against Watford.

Many believe it’s no surprise to see many of the Red Devils’ stars pull out of their international duty as Ole is taking after Sir Alex Ferguson’s habit of asking his players to prioritise the club.

Only Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford are the main stars still available for their country but it wouldn’t be a shock to see them hardly get any minutes.

Should everyone remain fit then it’s the perfect time with Manchester United’s race for a top four spot heating up.
