Manchester United give up on Jadon Sancho and Callum Hudson-Odoi

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United have reportedly given up on signing Jadon Sancho and Callum Hudson-Odoi shortly after becoming interested in the pair.

The latter only joined Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s transfer wish-list fairly recently while the former only had interest grow in him at the start of the season if reports are to be believed.

The young pair were seen as the ideal candidates to add pace and skill to United’s right-wing which is said to have been identified as the problem area by the Norwegian.

Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea have both insisted they wish to keep a hold of two of Europe’s brighter talents but Solskjaer was believed to have been willing to break the bank on either player.

The right-wing has mostly been occupied by Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard who both prefer playing through the middle and often end up cutting inwards, overcrowding the middle.

According to Sports Mole, the Daily Mail report that the Red Devils have given up on Jadon and Callum after Dortmund and Chelsea refused to negotiate and so they’ll spend their time looking elsewhere instead.

It makes sense that if a deal isn’t realistic then Ole should move on to more attainable targets but it is a little unfortunate he couldn’t get his hands around two talents largely believed to be the future of England.
