Manchester United could be without two main attacking stars

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United could be without two of their main attacking stars for the upcoming clash with Huddersfield in a blow to their top four ambitions.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s great start is well and truly over with poor results consistently following poor results since his contract was made permanent.

United have failed to look anywhere close to impressive for weeks now and their season is now in jeopardy.

Their draw with Chelsea effectively took their advantage out of their hands with Solskjaer now having to rely on other teams dropping points.

Only two fixtures remain in the Premier League season so there really is no time for the Red Devils to make up for their losses.

According to the Sun, Ole is sweating over Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku’s fitness with the former having a niggling shoulder injury and the latter enduring a hamstring injury.

Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez are the Norwegian’s only remaining options for the striker positions though neither have played there for quite some time.

The duo have mostly played as left-wingers though the latter has also played as an attacking midfielder.

Manchester United fans have been calling for youngster Mason Greenwood to be given a shot in the starting XI, particularly after the disappointments of late.
