Manchester United plan on scaring away Real Madrid from Paul Pogba: report

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United reportedly plan on scaring away Real Madrid from Paul Pogba as they prepare for what will surely be a long summer.

It’s understood the Spanish giant is keen on bringing in the Frenchman with Zinedine Zidane admitting his admiration for the player.

The midfielder himself claimed it would be a dream playing for Madrid under the French manager which was initially sparked the rumours in the first place.

Pogba’s desire to leave is understood to be related to whether or not United qualify for next season’s Champions League though some reports claim he wants to leave either way due to his wish to win top trophies.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer previously stated he believes his star player will remain at Old Trafford but did confess that anything could happen in football.

According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils will only consider bids of over £160m for Paul in a bid fight off Real’s interest in him despite his wish to leave.

Such a fee should scare off the La Liga side, especially since they’re expected to go on a summer spending spree.

To spend that much on one player doesn’t make much sense given that Zidane is said to be hoping to overhaul his squad.
