Manchester United fans react to 2-0 loss to Cardiff City

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United fans were more relieved than furious with their side following the 2-0 loss to Cardiff City.

Most supporters were just happy that the disappointment has come to an end with the defeat the last fixture of the season.

Now Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have the biggest summer of his career ahead of him with a huge rebuilding job to do.

United fans’ expectations are so low at this point that the defeat was hardly a surprise and they are now simply looking forward to next season.

Just who will still be turning out in the famous red shirt from August onwards is anyone’s guess given the poor performances from many players.

Solskjaer has already threatened his stars if they return from their time off unfit he will leave to pre-season without them, showing that he clearly believes fitness is one of the main issues with the squad.

In fairness to the Norwegian, the Red Devils’ were full of energy at the start of his reign which saw him grab win after win after win.

Once the players ran out, the points started to as well with an average, tired squad failing to put in any kind of decent performance together.
