Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s stance on want-away star Paul Pogba

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly wants to sell Paul Pogba but not for falling out with the star at all.

The Frenchman is said to have upset those at Old Trafford by admitting to a desire to leave for a new challenge but the Norwegian is looking to sell him for a different reason.

Juventus and Real Madrid are understood to be the real candidates interested in signing the midfielder though they’ll have to raise quite a bit of cash to seal the deal.

Pogba’s preference has changed from report to report with some saying he favours a return to Italy while others claiming playing for Zinedine Zidane is too tempting to turn down.

Whatever the case may be, this is the first time Solskjaer is believed to be keen on offloading the academy product.

According to the Daily Star, Ole has told the Red Devils’ chiefs to sell Paul to the highest bidder as he attempts to raise funds for more signings since he was only handed £100m to spend this summer.

That would significantly bulk the club legend’s budget but he must be confident his side would adequately replace the 26 year old; something fans don’t feel at all.
