Manchester United are reportedly open for business regarding Romelu Lukaku so long as interested parties bid around £75m for him.
It’s believed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer isn’t actively selling the Belgian but given his desire to depart, the club won’t stand in his way so long as they recoup the amount they spent on him.
The striker isn’t enjoying playing second fiddle to Marcus Rashford and with Inter Milan chasing him, it may be now or never for him to leave.
Lukaku has put in decent numbers over the past two seasons at United but fans don’t seem to be able to warm up to him as they look for more from their strikers.
Solskjaer will know more than most that the club will have to replace him should he leave, even if Rashford is the golden boy at the moment.
According to Sky Sports, Inter still need to raise around £30m to meet the Red Devils’ estimated £75m asking price and they are unlikely to make any offers before the 30th of June.
Given the Italian giants’ financial struggles, it’d be a surprise if they make a move for Romelu at all.
It could be that they are so keen on the former Chelsea man as it appears Mauro Icardi will be moved on as soon as possible.
