Daniel James continued to demonstrate a supreme work ethic since joining Manchester United by staying out late after his teammates had finished a training session at the WACA in Perth.

The 21-year-old became Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first signing as Man United boss last month, arriving from Swansea City for a fee of £15m.

Known for his blistering pace, James reportedly came out on top of all sprint tests as well as the famously gruelling bleep test in training sessions at Carrington ahead of United’s trip to Australia.

And as spotted by the BBC‘s Simon Stone, the youngster has set himself apart again by putting in extra training on his own after the conclusion of United’s open session at the WACA

James also endeared himself to the local support at the WACA – a famous cricketing venue – by staying behind with David de Gea to sign autographs and take selfies with fans.

United players – including Paul Pogba – were in good spirits throughout the training session, which was observed by 12,000 people.

The best moment, without doubt, was this truly inexplicable goal, which has to be the most “Manchester United circa 2019” finish you’ll ever see.
