The dazzling youngster’s confidence is evidently growing each match and it was his stunning effort that saw his side win 1-0 against the Serie A giants.
The sensational academy product would’ve been excused for taking things slowly in his first pre-season with United but instead he’s taken it by storm.
Greenwood’s ability with both feet was in full show as he controlled the ball with his right foot before curling it into the net with his left.
Though many initially felt he would get minutes sparingly next season as he adjusts to senior football, it could now be argued the 17 year-old star is ready for first-team football.
Inter Milan just can't handle Greenwood. It's as simple as that. So much confidence for a 17 year old. #mufc

Good run out for the lads. Comfortable win. And another goal for Mason Greenwood who should now start every single United game for the next 15 years #FullTimeJay

If United can look after Greenwood in the same way Ferguson did with Giggs/Scholes then he can be as good as they were, as he has the tools for the job that they had! ????

Mason Greenwood is going to have a big season. Such a natural finisher. Love it.

Some supporters were concerned with the lack of goals in the squad should Romelu Lukaku leave to Inter Milan but that’s probably a long forgotten matter now.
Whatever the future holds for the versatile attacker, at the moment it’s clear he deserves to be given a chance to continue to impress in the first-team.
