Paul Pogba to remain at Manchester United this season

by Marwan Harraz

The majority of Manchester United fans will be delighted to hear the club will not allow Paul Pogba to leave this summer despite rumours of Real Madrid and Juventus’ interest.

Supporters may hate or love the sensational Frenchman but there’s no denying his departure would see their club’s midfield become significantly worse.

Whenever Pogba didn’t play in pre-season, it was as clear as day how terrible United’s engine room was without him.

Perhaps Ole Gunnar Solskjaer isn’t keen on keeping a player who doesn’t want to be here but even he may have recognised the playmaking midfielder was too important to lose for the time being.

It’s understood the former Juventus man has been spectacular in training and has remained professional throughout the transfer saga so that’s a positive at least.

According to the Telegraph, Pogba won’t be allowed to leave this summer as Solskjaer considers him crucial to the club’s plans and has been encouraged by his attitude and application.

Hopefully United can do well enough this season to convince the World Cup winner he’s not wasting his career at Old Trafford and can be a part of something new.

Pogba himself admitted he felt he had unfinished business but obviously he can’t wait for the club forever to wake up from it’s sleeping giant position.
