Aaron Wan-Bissaka proves his worth to Manchester United already

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United star Aaron Wan-Bissaka has already proven just how good he is with stats showing how well he’s performed over just two games.

The young Englishman arrived as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s second signing after negotiations with Crystal Palace finally concluded positively.

Reports claim Wan-Bissaka was purchased for £50m but if early signs are a measure of what’s to come, that fee will quickly turn into a bargain.

The tenacious defender has already strengthened United’s right-back position tremendously after supporters suffered with Ashley Young.

Wan-Bissaka was part of a defence that impressively kept out Chelsea in the first match and only conceded one goal to Wolves which was Ruben Neves’ unstoppable effort.

The only criticism Wan-Bissaka faces is his output going forwards and even that isn’t necessarily bad or lacking.

The truth is the former Crystal Palace man is often capable in the final third but tends to be hesitant to go forwards, perhaps from being used to being in a defensive minded team.

He has plenty of time to improve in that respect but it could be argued Manchester United don’t really need someone too attack-minded there after suffering in the past.

Either way, there’s no doubt that Wan-Bissaka can become the complete right-back and his early praise has certainly been earned.
