Manchester United star Alexis Sanchez is set to join former teammate Romelu Lukaku at Inter Milan with reports claiming a loan deal has been negotiated.
The experienced Chilean has had a terrible time at Old Trafford, only rarely showing what he’s truly capable of and so he’ll be hoping he can rejuvenate his career in Italy.
United will be incredibly short of attacking options should Sanchez officially depart but it appears he has no place in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s plans.
The legendary Norwegian publicly backed the former Arsenal man recently but it appears the situation changed once he was told there was no desire to stay.
According to the Guardian, Inter will pay £175k of Sanchez’s £390k a week deal after finally having a breakthrough in negotiations with the Red Devils.
The percentage of his salary the Italian giants are paying is rather laughable but at least it’s better than nothing at all.
After all, reports had previously claimed Sanchez has fallen so far behind the pecking order he’d only be playing in the Europa League and Carabao Cup.
