Patrice Evra gave an inspirational speech to Daniel James as he handed the Welshman his first ‘Player of the Month’ award as a Manchester United player.
The youngster, who was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s first signing of the summer, has scored three goals in four games to cement himself as the best attacking performer of the campaign so far.
His ferocious quality was on show over the international break as well, with the 21-year-old firing in a superb goal for Wales in a home victory over Belarus.
Evra, who has been doing his coaching badges at Old Trafford, clearly relished giving James a powerful speech as he handed the youngster his award.

James is a deeply exciting player, but the fact that he is the club’s best player of the first four games should come as a concern to Solskjaer.
The Norwegian has made three top signings this summer but, in an ideal world, the key performers should not be the newest ones, but rather senior players like Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Marcus Rashford.
Without those big players hitting the right notes, the performances of James, however good, will mean very little in the long run.
