Ole Gunnar Solskjaer faces selection headache vs Leicester City

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United’s star Jesse Lingard, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Paul Pogba could all miss the clash against Leicester City with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer forced into making changes.

The legendary Norwegian has for the most part hardly rotated his side since the early fixtures of the season had big breaks between each match.

However, it could be argued changes would’ve been good considering United have failed to win any of their last three matches.

Opening day saw them take apart Chelsea 4-0 but they’ve been terrible since with draws against Wolves and Southampton and a loss to Crystal Palace at home.

The three players aforementioned are all key to Solskjaer’s plans and so his hand could potentially be forced into altering his usual starting XI.

According to the club’s official website, Solskjaer could be without Wan-Bissaka due to the back injury that kept him from making his international debut with England.

Lingard also pulled out of international duty with an illness while Pogba had an ankle injury prevent him from taking part in France’s fixtures.

The fact nothing was mentioned about Anthony Martial should suggest that he will be fit to return to action.

Marcus Rashford had failed to impress when he led the line against 10-man Southampton so the sensational Frenchman would be a welcome sight.
