Manchester United’s senior players David de Gea and Juan Mata reportedly hosted a team dinner as the squad looks to end the inconsistent form this season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s men have not played an inspiring match since their first match of the season when they tore apart a poor Chelsea side.
United have otherwise been lacklustre with a series of bizarre results against opposition they’re either expected to beat or expected to beat comfortably.
Social events between squad members would help solve some of the issues since Solskjaer’s men have looked disjointed at times.
With the squad in the middle of an overturn, team dinners could help kickstart the Red Devils’ new revolution.
According to the Daily Mail, De Gea and Mata were at the head of a team bonding meal after the win against Rochdale in a bid to bring about a togetherness in the squad.
The players plan on holding a similar dinner each month so they’re able to voice concerns as well but the likes of Marcos Rojo, Sergio Romero, Ashley Young, Paul Pogba, Phil Jones and Harry Maguire didn’t attend this time around due to not being in the mood after the less than inspiring win.
