David de Gea calls for improvement after shock loss to Newcastle

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United star David de Gea has called for his teammates to improve after losing to Newcastle in what can only be described as a disastrous season so far.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer risks losing his best players should the club’s form continue as the likes of Paul Pogba and co will certainly want to depart.

United tied De Gea down to a new contract but he could still force his way out should he decide he no longer wants to spend his peak years at Old Trafford.

The talented Spaniard could end up playing without European football entirely next season should Solskjaer’s men continue with their poor form.

The Red Devils are desperately running out of time to climb up the table with the legendary Norwegian’s job already under threat.

Manchester United haven’t played exciting football arguably since their first fixture which was the flattering 4-0 defeat of Chelsea.

Since then the Blues have improved but Solskjaer’s side have regressed horribly, finding themselves in 12th place in the third month of the season.

Hopefully United turn things around soon but if they are to do so they will need De Gea in the form of his life, otherwise they may just lose him.
