Manchester United fans were delighted with Anthony Martial‘s performance against Partizan Belgrade but also praised him for something he did immediately after the full time whistle.
The Frenchman had starred in an improved first-half display from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s during which he scored a sensational solo goal to kill the game.
As players congregated at full-time, Martial was notably angry at substitute Andreas Pereira, who did not find his passing radar during a slow final 10 or so minutes.
A United fan on Twitter helpfully dubbed over the scene to provide an accurate portrayal of what Martial was feeling towards the Brazilian.

And United fans – many of whom have attacked Martial in the past for lacking a sense of personality, for ‘sulking’ – seemed to enjoy this bollocking dished out by Martial.
You can straight up tell martial is from the streets.. Just look at the way he stares a man down consistently ????????stone face killa

All in favour of this. Fully in favour. If there is anything that we have learned this season, it is that the closer Martial is to the group, the more he is playing, the more vibrant and alive this United team looks.
Maybe all these players actually need is for Martial to come up to them, grab them by the chin, face or even neck, stare deep into their eyes with that stare of his, making whoever it is feel a cold chill and sense of shame wash over them as he says, in broken English, ‘Eh, come on, man… come on’.
Maybe we all need that.
