Manchester United turn to Brecia’s Sandro Tonali for midfield reinforcement

Manchester United are reportedly not letting up in their chase for Brecia wonder-kid Sandro Tonali as they continue their search for midfield reinforcements.

Although Fred and Scott McTominay have stepped up in Paul Pogba‘s absence, Nemanja Matic is believed to be keen on a transfer away this January.

Even without considering United’s current options, Solskjaer allowed Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini to leave without purchasing replacements.

Fans have long called for the club’s engine room to be bulked up and the hope is they can do so this winter transfer window.

Brecia have not been cooperative in their negotiations so far so it’s unlikely a deal is anywhere near close to completion.

According to Sports Mole, the Red Devils haven’t been put off by the ridiculous price-tag set by Brecia and remain seriously interested in Tonali.

It will be interesting to see whether the sensational youngster will force through a move or not to help the transfer happen.

Otherwise it seems Brecia won’t sell and Manchester United would then have to move on to more realistic options.

Solskjaer’s transfer policy so far has been to sign emerging young talent so it makes sense that Tonali is on his long wish-list.
