Manchester United fans were absolutely furious with Nemanja Matic after he delightfully and publicly responded to a post online suggesting he would be sold to Tottenham.
The London club have recently announced the appointment of Jose Mourinho after the shock sacking of Mauricio Pochettino which has naturally led to jokes that he would once again re-sign his former player.
Matic followed the Portuguese tactician to United from Chelsea despite some fans believing it wouldn’t be a good move.
The Serbian midfielder has failed to impress new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has seen his place initially go to Scott McTominay before also falling behind the pecking order behind Fred.
With Paul Pogba set to return soon, it hasn’t seemed likely that Matic has any realistic future at Old Trafford.
Matic has been far more disrespectful to United than Pogba ever has if we’re being honest.

Dear Jose Mourinho,
If you would like to buy Zlatan, and Fellaini for old times sake, United would happily take Harry Kane off your hands for you. We’ll even throw in Matic as a part of the deal.
Sincerely,

Matic been sending digs on social media for ages… but because he doesn’t live a “flashy lifestyle”… there’s no noise. I see.

Yo @SpursOfficial, we are offering a January sales deal on Nemanja Matic. 100% off.

Matic’s desire to leave is believed to be down to his need for first-team football as he fears losing his spot in his national team ahead of next summer’s European championship.
It’s understood the former Chelsea man would want a move as early as January if possible and there have been suggestions a few Italian clubs are keen.
However, it’s not completely unrealistic that he will actually seal a move to Tottenham should Mourinho deem it necessary.
