Martin Keown has lauded plenty of praise on Manchester United star Aaron Wan-Bissaka following his stunning performance vs Manchester City.
The talented Englishman was voted by the club’s supporters as man of the match as many recognised his brilliantly solid display in what was a crucial match not just for it’s history but also because Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s job was on the line according to some.
Wan-Bissaka walked right into United’s starting XI once he was signed from Crystal Palace and he hasn’t looked back since.
Diogo Dalot has been injured for quite some time but even while fit, he couldn’t displace the tenacious defender.
Wan-Bissaka has more or less secured the Red Devils’ right flank and the hope is he can so at a consistent level for the next ten years at least.
Dalot can certainly eventually challenge Wan-Bissaka for a spot in the starting XI but much of that relies on him remaining fit and finding some form.
It’s likely the young Portuguese could have to end up settling for the left-back position instead, particularly with Ashley Young potentially leaving at the end of this season.
If Dalot and Brandon Williams fight for the left-back spot then it would make for some interesting competition.
