Darren Fletcher has spoken of how Manchester United players find it impossible to get past Aaron Wan-Bissaka in training.
The 21-year-old, signed from Crystal Palace for £50m over the summer, earned widespread praise for an excellent performance against Manchester City.
Several players have remarked how Wan-Bissaka, known as ‘spiderman’ for the way his legs just seem to come out nowhere to get the ball, was a nightmare in training.
Speaking on the subject of how the player is viewed at United, Fletcher said: I was talking to some Manchester United players, and they were saying that no player has managed to pass Wan-Bissaka in training this season.”
“It’s as if he refuses to let them pass. He has to get better technically, but he is a fantastic fullback. When he gets better technically, he’s going to take his game to a new level. He is a fantastic defensive player and contributor for Manchester United.”
