Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirms desire for Manchester United signings

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted at a potentially busy January transfer window despite his bosses insisting only worthwhile deals would be pursued.

The legendary Norwegian is well aware his squad is in need of investment but the noise coming out of Old Trafford earlier seemed to suggest a quiet winter transfer window.

United currently sit in fifth place with the weaknesses in their squad already exposed as they’ve lacked quality in depth as well as numbers.

Fans have already stated, multiple times, the mistake it was to allow Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku to depart without replacements.

With Solskjaer’s three signings proving successful so far, the board should be more confident in handing him cash to spend, whether it’s this January or next summer.

It’s interesting Solskjaer admits he’s looking into many positions and not just a few as some fans thought he was being silly by insisting he was happy with his current crop.

However, it’s more likely the former Molde man is just as unhappy with his squad as supporters are and so he will have his revolution but it will probably be slow-paced due to the board.

Not only are they rather incompetent but it seems they’re only willing to make three signings a window at best.
