Manchester United fans will reportedly get an opportunity to see Facundo Pellistri in action for the first team soon.
The young winger was signed on deadline day during the summer transfer window but has yet to make an appearance for the first-team.
However, he has been on the bench here or there so it’s no surprise to learn there are plans to hand him more minutes.
It’s understood Pellistri plays matches for the U23s but trains with the senior team as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to bed him in slowly.
After all, the Uruguayan prospect has had a lot of change recently after arriving from his home nation and expectations had to be toned down.

Pellistri’s slow induction into the team has meant fans have naturally lowered their expectations of him and so it gives him space to settle in.
Solskjaer wanted a right-winger in the summer and got two in the aforementioned youngster and Amad Diallo but unfortunately the former is not ready yet while the latter doesn’t arrive until January.
It’s safe to say both are signings for the future but at least it looks as though Pellistri is ready to make appearances here or there as he aims to build a legacy at Old Trafford.
