Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an injury update on Marcus Rashford after he was substituted vs PSG.

The talented Englishman was bright and dangerous during the heavyweight clash but couldn’t seem to find any end product consistently.

Rashford assisted Edinson Cavani’s winner vs Southampton during the weekend but this time around had his deflected shot go in vs PSG.

It turned out to be United’s only goal of the evening despite the team getting multiple chances to net more.

Rashford was eventually taken off the field after seemingly struggling early on but by then the damage by PSG was already done.

Manchester United will want to beat West Ham to continue their rise of late in the league and to potentially jump into the European spots.

Their game in hand puts them in a good position but until it’s won, it offers no guarantees and shouldn’t be the measure of a good or bad season.

If United are to do well vs West Ham they’ll need all their firepower fit and so the hope is Rashford can quickly shrug off his knock.

The academy graduate has been in fine form this season so far, putting in impressive numbers while fighting for social causes off the pitch at the same time.
