Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists he will be boring about title talk

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has explained why last night’s match with Wolves was a big step forward for his squad.

The legendary Norwegian has managed to turn the tide of late and his job now looks more secure now than it has down all season long.

United’s campaign didn’t get off to the best of starts and it seemed as though Solskjaer was set to lose his job by the time the festive period came around.

With the new year just around the corner now, the former Molde man is in a much stronger position with their even being talk that the club will support him over the next couple of transfer windows and aren’t considering switching managers.

The Red Devils overcame a stubborn Wolves side to claim all three points to send themselves to second in the Premier League table.

Solskjaer has clearly refused to get drawn into title talk and rightfully so as even recent history shows it’s very easy to see the second half of the season fall apart.

His job is to keep his player grounded and keep on grinding out results and it’s something he has done well.

Manchester United fans felt the win over Wolves was almost symbolic as it was a win that their side would typically fail to get in the past.

It was also because it happened at a time when their rivals were dropping points so it made it all the more crucial.
