Manchester United duo Mason Mount and Harry Maguire were spotted in training ahead of an EFL Cup third-round clash against Crystal Palace on Tuesday.
Erik ten Hag who has had to deal with multiple injuries to key players will be boosted by the return of the two England internationals.
Mount has not featured for United since the defeat at Tottenham Hotspur in his side’s second match of the season.
Also present during training was Maguire.
The 30-year-old has missed United’s last two games against Bayern Munich and Burnley respectively.
During the Burnley game, Maguire’s absence which was made worse by Lisandro Martinez’s unavailability forced Ten Hag into starting Jonny Evans alongside Victor Lindelof.
Evans was sensational and on top of registering an assist for Bruno Fernandes’ stunning goal, also saw a goal ruled out by VAR.
Maguire’s return will give Ten Hag and the team a little breathing room.
