Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Manchester United star Omari Forson is set to join Serie A outfit Monza.
Earlier this month, it came out that Forson would leave United at the end of June, following the expiry of his contract.
The Red Devils had offered the forward multiple proposals but an agreement was never struck. Forson and his representatives turned them all down.
Even after Romano relayed that the 19-year-old would almost certainly depart Old Trafford, it was stated that United had not given up and would continue making attempts to convince him to stay.
However, it seems like those efforts were completely unsuccessful and Forson has fully made up his mind about pursuing a new adventure, away from England.
According to Romano, the Carrington academy graduate will play for Monza in Italy next season. The Italian journalist even sealed the Forson to Monza news with his famous “here we go” catchphrase.
Romano wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Omari Forson to Monza, here we go!”
“As revealed last week, 2004 born talent leaves Manchester United as free agent — decision was already made.
“Forson has agreed on terms to join Monza on free transfer from Manchester United, he will now play in Serie A.”
“Contract until June 2028.”

Forson was part of the United senior squad during their pre-season tour of the United States last summer. The player went on ahead to make his bow for the first team against Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup in January when he came on for Marcus Rashford in the dying embers of the match.
When he was introduced into proceedings vs. Wigan, Forson became the 249th academy player to make a United debut. On multiple occasions after that, Forson was included in the club’s matchday squads and even continued to make appearances from the bench. Weeks later, Ten Hag handed him his first Premier League start against Fulham on February 24.
One of his most notable contributions in the 2023/24 season was when he provided a brilliant assist for Kobbie Mainoo’s sensational winning goal in the 4-3 victory over Wolves at the Molineux.
