Manchester United sign deal with Bulova

by Sam Peoples

Manchester United have announced a three year deal to sign watchmaker Bulova to be the club’s official timekeeper.

Bulova will have their brand emblazoned on the scoreboards at Old Trafford, the advertising boards around the pitch and on MUTV.

Speaking about the new partnership, United’s managing director Richard Arnold said: “Although from very different industries, Bulova and Manchester United share many common values.

“Founded within years of each other, we have both grown to become global leaders in our fields and the first to achieve many new innovations and milestones.

“We are confident that the popularity, craftsmanship and accessibility of Bulova’s products, combined with the Club’s ever-growing global fan base will make this a successful partnership.”

It’s going to be great watching Bulova and Pepsi link up in the centre of United’s midfield with Aeroflot on the wings and Chevrolet driving the team forward isn’t it?

United have had a great summer in terms of signing new corporate deals but are yet to finalise a deal to bring in a major addition to the squad. At least they have got their priorities sorted.
