Lindegaard 6 – Had very little to do as Norwich didn’t threaten Manchester United’s goal. Kicking was pretty poor though.
Rafael 6 – Bombed forward whenever he could and helped Zaha on the flanks. Defensively, didn’t have much to do.
Vidic 6 – Like the rest of our defence, had a very quiet game. Wasn’t called on much.
Ferdinand 6 – Rio’s highlight was waving to the fans who asked for one. Action was minimal.
Buttner 7 – Probably his best all-round performance in a United shirt. A real threat on the overlap. Did get skinned once by Redmond.
Januzaj 8 – It is hard not to get overexcited about him isn’t it? He’s awesome, sublime, dreamy. Gets better in every game.
Cleverley 7 – Much improved from his Stoke performance which was woeful. Needs more game time to return to his flowing best.
Jones 7 – Another consistent performance from Jones in the middle. Looks very comfortable there this year. Capped it off with a cracking goal (and typical gurn).
Zaha 7 – Was great on his debut. May have felt he was rusty but ran at his defender and beat him more often than not which is refreshing to see from a United winger. Finally got to see him play. More minutes please Moyes.
Young 6 – As good as Zaha’s crossing was, Young’s was equally as poor. Over hit the majority of them. Buttner was the bigger threat on the left.
Hernandez 8 – Brilliant performance from the Mexican. Said he was desperate for a start after Stoke, got it and took his chance with two well taken goals. 12 goals in 16 starts. Moyes will have to start him against Fulham surely.
Substitutes
Rooney 6 – Came on and kept the ball moving well to see the game out. His pass to Fabio was delicious. Typical Rooney.
Fabio 6 – A lovely goal from Fabio from Rooney’s excellent pass. Think he deserves game time at left back ahead of Buttner despite the Dutchman’s good performance tonight.
Anderson 5 – Nothing of importance to note. Game was over before he came on the pitch anyway.
