Barcelona boss Hansi Flick shared his verdict after Marcus Rashford scored in Saturday’s victory over Getafe, to edge the side closer to retaining their La Liga crown.
Impact
Rashford netted a superb goal as Barcelona tightened their hold on a second successive La Liga title with a 2-0 win over a stubborn Getafe side.
The Manchester United loanee applied the finishing touch to round off a devastating counter-attack in the 74th minute.

The Blaugrana had been leading 1-0 thanks to a Fermin Lopez goal just before the break. Flick’s side are now 11 points clear of second-placed Real Madrid with just five games left to play.
Rashford, who hasn’t started any of Barcelona’s last four games despite Raphinha being sidelined with an injury, came off the bench for Roony Bardghji in the 60th minute. He slotted in on the right in the absence of Lamine Yamal, who is also injured.
Beyond his goal, Rashford made two key passes and found a Barcelona teammate with one of the long balls he pinged.
The England international touched the ball 18 times and made four carries. He won just two of the six ground duels he delved into.
After the final whistle, Flick hailed Rashford’s “important” goal, but played down suggestions that the title is already secured.
Flick’s reaction
The German coach said, “Marcus came on in the second half and he used the space they give us.”
“We spoke about this at half time. I am happy for the team, for us and also for him that he scored this goal because it was so important for him and also for us.”
On winning the league, Flick remarked, “We [only] celebrate the victory. It’s different. I said to the team before the game, we only focus on the day to day, on our job, what we have to do. When we play like this, I am really happy. I appreciate a lot what we do with the ball, but also against the ball. It’s not easy here, but today was nearly perfect.”
“[The title] is not done. We have five games more and we focus only on the next game. We will celebrate when it’s time, not now.”
Rashford is now up to 13 goals across all competitions for Barcelona this term. Yet, the Catalan giants are yet to clearly indicate whether or not they will sign him permanently. There have been suggestions that they will send him back to United rather than exercise the ÂŁ26m buy option.
