The Czech goalkeeper has once again had a very successful loan spell.

He once again played an important role in Bristol City’s 2-2 draw with promotion-chasing Southampton. Vitek made two saves in the match, with one from a shot inside the area.

There was nothing he could do for the Saints’ opener, when Cyle Larin scored from close range. Vitek also stood little chance for the second, as Ross Stewart tucked away a header from inside the six-yard box.

He did make a vital stop in the closing minutes from Shea Charles to keep the scores level with a fine reaction stop. The goalkeeper also did well at the end under immense pressure to come and punch the ball clear in a crowded penalty area after the ball was swung into the box.

He also made two clearances and won his only aerial duel in the match. The Robins will travel to Birmingham City this Saturday in their penultimate fixture of the season.

Dan Gore

The young midfielder played 90 minutes in Rotherham’s 0-2 home loss to Luton Town.

He made one key pass and completed 69% of his passes. Gore also had one shot, but it did not hit the target.

The 21-year-old was successful in his only dribble attempt and carried the ball forward 17 times. He was productive in his duels, winning five out of seven ground duels and his only aerial contest.

Gore also helped out defensively with two interceptions and a completed tackle in the middle of the park.

The Millers will next host Reading on Saturday afternoon.
