Manchester United are weighing up a succession plan after bringing an end to Ruben Amorim’s time at the helm.
Their first priority is to put a caretaker manager in place until the end of the season. It is a two-horse race between Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Michael Carrick for the role.
However, United are also expected to look for a manager with more pedigree to spearhead their rebuild.
Luis Enrique keen on Manchester United job
Even before Manchester United pulled the trigger on Amorim, the Premier League giants were strongly linked with the likes of Oliver Glasner, Andoni Iraola and Thomas Tuchel.
Now, Luis Enrique has supposedly thrown his hat into the ring.
Recently, The Peoples Person relayed a report claiming Enrique has “decided to leave” Paris Saint-Germain and is ready for a “new challenge in another league, the Premier League [with] Manchester United.”
The Spaniard, who has also had spells at AS Roma and Barcelona, has won an incredible 18 trophies, including two Champions Leagues.
As such, his alleged availability should pique United’s interest. However, the PSG boss is expected to demand a lot of backing in the transfer market.
Luis Enrique eyeing Rodrygo for Man United
According to Defensa Central, Luis Enrique is already thinking about the United job and has drawn up his transfer wishlist.
It is claimed Enrique is interested in signing Rodrygo from Real Madrid, as he wants INEOS to build his project around “top-level” players.

Rodrygo is considered one of Europe’s most talented wingers. However, the Brazilian has struggled for a consistent role under Xabi Alonso, leading to question marks over his long term future at Santiago Bernabeu.
It has been previously reported that Real are open to parting ways with Rodrygo for a fee in the region of €80m.

This is the wrong way to choose a manager. He does not know what he has in terms of players and Academy posibles and strait away he wants a particular player. This is the cart before the horse again. The Club should choose the players coming in after consultation with people, not a manager saying this is who I want. There was a marked improvement against Burnley in effort and control of large portions of the game, all because the team was set up to play to the players strengths almost, and in a style that was offensive and positive. Would this have happened under Amorim? This team are capable of much more than they have been giving under a style that did not suit them and the confusion of a manager who was totally addled. Or was he? He probably orchestrated his sacking knowing two things, first he could not coach or manage and secondly he would get a huge pay off. The gullible Ratcliffe must think before appointing the next manager but then again his thinking is only applied to financial matters, football, he knows nothing about.

As a die hard Manchester United,we need for INEOS to wake up and do accurate business without any fear.Otherwise fan base should make protest and spin of new takeovers through media and old players as both latter had always played a major role of the sackings.
Finally,we need to adhere to the principle of SIR ALEX FERGUSON and also wish the restoration of Manchester United dominance all in areas. As every year,Manchester United pave ways to any final since 2023,this year I wish same for only FA CUP competition.
