Manchester United have confirmed that they have struck a world-leading sponsorship deal with Super Group, which will see Betway become the club’s official principal partner and exclusive global betting partner.
Blockbuster agreement
In May, a report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that United were on the verge of agreeing a sponsorship deal with Betway worth around a lucrative ÂŁ20m per year.
It was mentioned that this multi-year agreement was poised to become the biggest standalone training kit or playing shirt sleeve deal in world football.
The Red Devils had been without a sponsor on their training gear since their association with blockchain firm Tezos ended in June 2025. United were presented with multiple offers but took their time to settle on a partner they believed was the best fit.
Now, United have confirmed that the partnership with Betway, which begins with the 2026/27 season, is the gambling company’s largest sponsorship investment to date, forming part of a market-leading portfolio that takes in top-flight football, Formula 1, international rugby union, cricket, basketball, and tennis.
The Betway logo will feature on United’s training kits for both the men’s and women’s teams. It will also be spotted prominently on matchdays at Old Trafford.
