United plotting ambitious move to sign £150m stars from Bournemouth, Ineos preparing to open talks

Manchester United enjoyed a promising night in their first Champions League match of the season, beating Sabah FK 4-0 at Old Trafford.

It was a very calculated and strong showing going forward, with the Red Devils scoring three goals in the first half alone before Lisandro Martinez added another after the break.

Patrick Dorgu started at left-back and assisted Matheus Cunha for the opening goal. The Dane was named Man of the Match for his all-round performance.

Regardless, United’s recruitment team remain keen on strengthening both their attack and the left flank in the coming windows, and have set their sights on two players from the same club.

Manchester United eyeing Bournemouth stars

According to Football FanCast, Manchester United are “preparing to open talks” with Bournemouth next year for their stars.

It is understood United are plotting a double move from the South Coast to strengthen the two areas they did not address this summer.

First on their list is Adrien Truffert, a 24-year-old French left-back who has developed into one of the Premier League’s most complete full-backs since moving to Bournemouth from Stade Rennais.

In a recent podcast, David Ornstein suggested Truffert is valued at around £60 million and that “there’s potentially a deal to be done next summer.”

Manchester United plotting £150 million raid

Meanwhile, Football FanCast report that United are also weighing up a move for his Bournemouth teammate Rayan, with the versatile forward valued at around £90m.

“A swoop for the pair could cost in the region of £150m, representing another significant outlay for two players who have risen to stardom quite quickly since arriving in England,” the report states.

Rayan, in particular, has seen his stock grow rapidly after moving to England from Brazil only at the start of the year.

The electric 20-year-old Brazilian scored five goals and registered two assists in 15 Premier League appearances last term after swapping Vasco da Gama for Bournemouth. He has also earned plaudits for his work ethic and relentless pressing.
