Manchester United completed another successful day at the Super Cup NI.

The Red Devils have a proud history at the Northern Irish tournament, and some of their most historic players have cut their teeth at the event.

The likes of Paul Scholes, David Beckham and Marcus Rashford have all represented Manchester United at the tournament.

More recently, academy gem JJ Gabriel represented Manchester United last season.

Girls’ triumph

The Manchester United girls’ sides have been in stunning form at this tournament, and the under-14s claimed a deserved trophy.

They crushed Surf Select 4-0 to win the SCNI Girls Junior Cup.

The senior women’s team sent their congratulations to the youth team with the following post on social media after the match.

There was also silverware for the under-16s, who defeated Irish side Shamrock Rovers on penalties after a 0-0 draw in normal time.

The victory meant an impressive sweep on the girls’ side of the tournament, and Manchester United fans will be excited to see how many of these talented youngsters can make a name for themselves at Leigh Sports Village in the future.

Boys

The boys defeated Sunderland 1-0 to make it through to the Globe final, which will be played on Friday afternoon.

Mane Soares broke the deadlock in a tight game, as his half-volley found the back of the net to give the young Red Devils the lead.

Mexican side Tigres UANL await in the final after they dispatched County Down in the other semi-final.
