Manchester United have said a temporary goodbye to another of their young talents.
Loans
Jacob Devaney has joined Hibernian on loan, while Ethan Wheatley has moved to Lincoln City until the end of the season.
Jayce Fitzgerald also completed his temporary move to Rotherham United earlier today.
It was Dan Gore’s turn today as he secured his move on loan to Luton Town.
Gore enjoyed a tremendous spell at Rotherham last season and will hope to impress again in League One.
Luton move
United’s official website reports, “Manchester United midfielder Dan Gore has agreed to join Luton Town on loan until the end of the 2026/27 season, subject to registration.”
They also wished their young starlet all the best for the upcoming season.

Luton Town were clearly delighted by the capture of Gore and stated on their website, “we are delighted to announce our seventh signing of the summer window with the arrival of Manchester United midfielder Dan Gore on a season-long loan, with a conditional option to buy.”
The Hatters’ boss Jack Wilshere explained why his side were attracted to the United midfielder and stated, “he’s got something a little bit different.”
The former Arsenal player stated, “he’s aggressive in duels. He can carry the ball. He’s got personality on the pitch. He loves a tackle, and he’s someone that we kept our eye on in the second game up there.”
Gore was also delighted with the move and asserted, “I’m buzzing to get it done. I know Luton is a big club, and I like the style that Jack is trying to play.”
The youngster was also keen to stress that the side’s possession-based style will suit him down to the ground owing to his experience in United’s academy.
